Canadian Phoenix Announces New CFO

| | CANADIAN PHOENIX RESOURCES CORP. ("Canadian Phoenix" or the "Corporation") announces that, effective March, 2010, Mr. Tim Moran has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, replacing Ms Adeline Martin. Mr. Moran joined Canadian Phoenix in 2009 and was formerly responsible for External Financial Reporting. Since August 2009, he has consulted with the Corporation on a quarterly basis. Prior to joining Canadian Phoenix, Mr. Moran spent 12 years with the international accounting firm of KPMG LLP, including the last nine in Australia focusing on energy clients and the implementation of IFRS. Mr. Moran is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.
The Board wishes to thank Ms Martin for her dedication and service to the Corporation over the past two years and wishes every success as she takes on a new role at a larger Calgary-based international private producer.
